This is the first in a series of “How To” videos that I’m calling the “TM” Series. “TM” stands for technical manual, of which every piece of equipment in the military has.

I selected YouTube as the video hosting platform to distribute this content because it fits in with the typical video seen on YouTube: it’s shot in a landscape perspective, includes title and credit cards, and is longer than a minute, which is the typical length of shorts on TikTok and other apps. Additionally, YouTube videos are easily shared on many social media platforms, so I won’t have to make different cuts for different sites.
